Posted on April 4, 2018

The Rescue Run: Race for Marine Mammals, held April 21, 2018 at the Seacoast Science Center, features a 5k chip-timed trail race and untimed walk to benefit Marine Mammal Rescue in New Hampshire and northern MA.

Now in its 10th year, the popular race follows a scenic route through the forest, by the rocky shore, along a sandy beach, and alongside historic military fortifications in Odiorne Point State Park.

Prizes are awarded in age and gender categories from 6 to 60+, as well as, overall fastest male and female for the 5k.

The Kid’s Fun Run features a 300 yard dash and a half-mile run for children ages 12 and under. Every child that participates in the Fun Run wins a prize!

Runner and spectators enjoy a runners breakfast, music, raffles and activities that teach why a healthy ocean matters for all life on Earth.
