Environmental Day Camps

Kids love our camps! Whether onsite or field-trip-based (grades 6-8), our camp programs spark curiosity and empower kids to see themselves as scientists and naturalists, excited about discovering the world around them.

Our Counselors

All camp counselors are knowledgeable, skilled educators who know how to excite children about science through hands-on learning fun. Our low camper-to-counselor ratio for each age group ensures a safe, enriching, personalized experience for every camper.

Our Campers

Children are grouped by grade, and Trekkers (ages 4 to 5) have their own classroom. Come find out why many of our campers return year after year and form lasting friendships.

Treks

Whether your little trekker is ready for adventure or is a bit shy, our counselors take special care to meet children where they are at and comfortably ease them into their day. Through play-based activities and guided exploration that follows their curiosity, children gain confidence as young naturalists and scientists.

Seaside Safari

Seaside Safari Camp is a fun-filled learning adventure that takes advantage of the natural classroom just outside our doors in historic Odiorne Point State Park. By engaging in nature-based learning, campers develop a better understanding of the world around them, their relationship to it, and the need to preserve and protect our Blue Planet. Lessons, activities, art projects, games, and stories combine for a full day of learning, excitement and fun!

"SSC's camps are always very well organized and fun! I really appreciate the full communication with parents. The counselors are all engaging and very positive. I especially appreciate the range of opportunities even for older kids as camps for tweens/young teens can be hard to find. Thanks for a great summer!"
