Big Fish Little Fish: Open Play
BFLF Open Play is an open-house, drop-in morning with stations specifically designed to excite your little one through science play and discovery. Activities engage children in fine and gross motor and multi-sensory skills, literacy, math, and creativity. Pop-up story times and outdoor mini-adventures may be offered based on the day’s theme.
- Age: Early Learners (0-5)
- Dates: Thursdays
- Time: 10am-12pm
- Cost: Free with Admission
- Admission: $10 ages 12 and up; $5 ages 3-11; under 3 free; SSC members of all ages: free
Big Fish Little Fish: Trailblazers
BFLF Trailblazers is a 6-week program for children ages 3-5, where kids and their favorite adults actively explore and learn about the habitats of Odiorne Point State Park together. Adventures are designed to inspire curiosity and a sense of wonder and build a child’s confidence as a young scientist and naturalist. Each child will receive an explorer bag, nature journal, hand lens, and SSC pencil!
- Age: Early Learners (3-5)
- Dates: 6-week session held on Wednesdays
- Winter Session Dates: January 11, 18, 25, and February 1, 8, 15, 2023
- Spring Session Dates: March 8, 15, 22, 29, and April 5, 12, 2023
- Time: 9:30am-11:30am
- Cost: $120 non-member child, $90 member child
