Daily Themes

Wednesday, December 27: Octopus Odyssey

Join us as we learn cool facts about one of the most  intriguing and intelligent creatures found throughout the world’s oceans: octopuses. We’ll watch our exhibit octopus being fed it’s daily meal and make a snow octopus outdoors, weather permitting.

Thursday, December 28: Winter Wildlife Walk

Head out into the winter woods with us to look for signs of animals that remain active this time of year. We’ll learn tracking skills, identify winter birds, and build forts from which to view the winter landscape of Odiorne Point State Park.

Friday, December 29: Fantastic Fish!

From giant whale sharks to tiny puffer fish, we’ll dive into the diverse world of fish, and the many adaptations they have for survival. Learn how we care for our aquarium fish and design a cool moray eel craft to take home after watching our live moray eat it’s lunch!
