*Notice Regarding Potential Future Construction

Seacoast Science Center is currently in the early planning stages of a potential capital campaign that may include facility enhancements and construction. While no definitive timeline has been established, groundbreaking could occur as early as spring 2027 or 2028.

Should the project move forward, construction would be limited to the rear portion of the existing building and thoughtfully screened to maintain an attractive and welcoming setting. The oceanside façade, function tent space, and the Center’s breathtaking ocean views would remain entirely unaffected. The building itself would continue to be available for weddings and special events.

We are committed to keeping all rental clients informed as plans and timelines become more clearly defined, and will provide updates as they become available.

CLOSING EARLY: THURSDAY, May 22, 2025. Due to anticipated high winds, we will be closing at 3pm today, to prioritize the safety of visitors, volunteers & staff. Stay safe.

Update: Tuesday, July 7, 2026
