9:30 Big Fish Little Fish: How Do Animals Prepare for Winter?

Kids (ages 3-5) and their favorite adults actively explore and learn about the habitats of Odiorne Point State Park together during this weekly outdoor program. 

The animals of Odiorne Point State Park have a lot of work to do to prepare for the winter ahead! Let’s explore the different adaptations that animals have to survive the winter and take a nature walk to see if we can spot any winter preparations taking place around the park!

Drop-in Cost: $10 for member children; $12 non-member children. Advanced Registration Cost: $8 for member children; $10 non-member children. Register here.

Discover the unique features of our rocky shore and get a closer look at the animals that live there. We may visit our indoor touch tank, venture outdoors to the intertidal zone, or get hands-on with fun activities.

9:30 Ocean Commotion: Thanksgiving

Ocean Commotion is an indoor program where little ones (ages 1-3) and their favorite adults dance, play, and use their senses to explore a new set of activities each week.

This week we will create our own mock-feast and celebrate everything we have to be thankful for. Learning stations will include turkey feathers, bobbing for cranberries, and playful pies.

Cost: $5 for member children; $8 non-member children; no cost for adults. Registration is not required.
