Sign up to join us for a small-group, naturalist-led tide pooling program!
Tide pools are special places, home to an array of fascinating animals and seaweeds uniquely adapted to thrive between the tides: in the rocky intertidal zone. Join us for small-group tide pooling explorations as we search for crabs, sea stars, urchins and more! Participants should come prepared to get a little salty and wet to learn first-hand which animals live where, why, and what makes them able to survive in this harsh environment. The program ends with a self-guided visit to Seacoast Science Center, where visitors can learn more about the Gulf of Maine and ways we can all become healthy ocean advocates!
