Seacoast Science Center is thrilled to collaborate with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy® (AWSC) as a host site for The Gills Club®. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage our community and provide local youth (all are welcome) interested in marine science, particularly shark science, with a fun and interactive learning experience! Gills Club will take place on the last Saturday of each month through April, co-hosted by Olivia and Cat. To attend each session, please register by following the sign-up link and completing the Google Form.

Club/Event Details
Founded in 2014 by a group of women shark scientists, Gills Club aims to enhance opportunities for girls (gills), and now all youth, aged 6-13 to engage in shark science! This program is managed by the AWSC on Cape Cod.These free monthly in-person event allow youth aged 6-13 to learn about researchers, explore shark species, and engage in hands-on activities. Guardians must accompany participants, as the program is not a drop-off initiative. Registration is required for each child due to capacity limits, even for those from the same family.
Please note: Program attendees at Seacoast Science Center must be accompanied by an adult (18+), who remains in the classroom for the duration of the program. Visitors in the group not participating in Gills Club or chaperoning will be required to purchase an admissions ticket. Park entrance fees are charged separately by New Hampshire State Parks, and these fees can not be covered by SSC. Reach out to your local library to see if they offer State Park passes, for free entrance.
