Join SSC naturalists for an exploration of the hidden world of marine life in the tidal zone! Using a seine net (a long, narrow net used to gather specimens in shallow water) naturalists will collect animals that we rarely get to see from the beach including fish, sea stars, crabs, mollusks, and more! This program will include a 15 minute walk to and from the area where the seine net will be used. Participants should wear close-toed shoes that can get wet and weather appropriate clothing.
