Sea Level Rise: Picture the Rising Tide with NH Sea Grant

Discover how NH Sea Grant is working with communities to better understand and prepare for coastal flooding, helping protect homes, infrastructure, and natural resources along the coast. Learn how rising sea levels, storm surge, and changing weather patterns are affecting our coastal communities.

Come learn from NH Sea Grant Fellows, who will be on hand at SSC to share the NH Coastal Adaptation Workgroup‘s (CAW) Picturing Rising Tides 2026 photo winners, currently on exhibit through May 3, 2026, and more information with visitors. Each year, CAW invites citizens to photograph extreme high tides where they live for its annual photo contest to raise awareness of New Hampshire’s rising tides. This is a great opportunity to see and learn about our coastal communities, and research being conducted.
