Outreach Programs

Choosing a Seacoast Science Center Outreach Program is the perfect way to enrich the coastal conservation or marine science studies at your school or facility!

Our naturalist will travel to your site and lead an engaging, content-rich program for your students, group, or patrons. Please note, outreach programs are only available within a 45-minute drive of Seacoast Science Center.

Outreach Options for School and Groups

Coastal Critters

What animals and seaweeds can you find in New Hampshire tide pools and coastal zones? Meet these animals up close and learn about the interesting and sometimes strange adaptations (suction cups, claws, tentacles) they use to capture their prey, move, or defend themselves.

The North American Lobster

Lobsters are fascinating creatures that live on the ocean floor. Learn about how lobsters move, how they use their big claws to eat, and how they protect themselves.

Turtle Time with Raspberry

What species of turtles live in New Hampshire, and what is the difference between land and sea turtles? Meet Raspberry, a 3-toed box turtle, to learn more about the body parts that all turtles have in common, what they eat, why we think they are so special, and what you can do to help keep them safe.
